I had no idea what I wanted to do after high school. I started with the Nursing module just to see what it was like — and two hours later I had gone through three more careers. The games actually make it fun. I took the Agile Work Profiler and it told me I was a natural caregiver. Now I'm applying to the CNA program at Central Piedmont. This changed everything for me.

I always thought healthcare meant being a doctor or a nurse — I didn't know there were careers like Healthcare IT or Medical Laboratory. The salary information was eye-opening. I did the resume module and actually built my first real resume from scratch using the sample they showed. My counselor said it was one of the best she had seen from a sophomore. I'm telling everyone in my school about this.

The Financial Aid module alone was worth it. I didn't know the FAFSA was free — I actually thought you had to pay someone to fill it out. The Fact or Fiction game caught me on that one! I also found two scholarships specifically for healthcare students that I never would have found on my own. I feel so much more prepared for what comes next.

I'm not gonna lie — I signed up because my teacher gave us extra credit. But then I got into the Surgical Technology module and I literally could not stop. The OR Prep Checklist game had me stressed in the best way — like I actually felt what it would be like to be in that room. I showed my mom the career page and she started crying because she always wanted me to go into healthcare but never knew how to help me get there. Now we both know what steps to take. This is the real deal.
